The Good, The Bad and the Ugly-updates. - kenny @ 3:45 pm

Updates:
Photographs from New Years in this week's digiCam project. (NWS)
The graffiti project update.

Now for a depraved revisit to some old archives and a quick explanation. You will notice a new button at the top entitled "Various". You have two options so far, The Good and The Bad. In The Good you can find Gil Spottings which is a small archive of random places Gil has turned up. The other is Hello my future girlfriend, a classic mirror of early internet love. Now for the dark, The Bad. This is a collection of some more random classic web shit that we once archived. You can see what my grandma looks like naked. You can see the full goatse archive. Last but not least you can check out Cat Schwartz naked. Along with this old archive restoration there are some more projects that I am now working on for the rebirth of tech around here.

Happy New Year! - kenny @ 12:51 pm
-If I took your photo last night and you are looking to find it, I should have given you a card. Contact me, otherwise photos will be up Sunday. Don't expect an answer on the phone, I check messages often but do not feel like hearing a phone ring today.

There is one thing I can do and do better than anyone else, that's party. I have found no limit that has scared me on to the straight and narrow path of sobriety, God knows I need it. I was pushing 48 hours yesterday, I needed a nap before the festivities but I dare not rest for fear of sleeping the night away. 72 hours of pushing my decaying body to the edge-yet again, waking up sounding like Barry White with a pulsating eyeball and brain to match and then there's the chapped dick. Yes, a chapped dick - I can fuck just as hard as I can party. I need water, lots of it. I shall begin working on stuff after I get my skull squared away, I just felt the urge to wish all a "Happy New Year!"

Cheers!

BotN: Redheaded goodness - Teep @ 3:24 am
Unspecified

This is an official announcement: the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has officially acknowledged the cultural and historical value of red hair. With the gradual increase of interracial fornication (with the intent of reproduction) which is otherwise greatly applauded by UNESCO, the recessive 'redhead gene' has come under threat of extinction. All healthy males of Irish and Scottish descent are therefore called upon to fornicate (with the intent of reproduction) with today's BotN: click (NWS)

Warning: This door eats the crippled! - kenny @ 8:25 am

I am still running far behind with stuff, but I have a couple more updates thrown up. A couple of small digiCam updates, this one, which is not work safe due to my penis... also in this small update, I found it odd that the key to a cube puzzle was to make a swastika - then there is this update.

Whilst out shooting some graffiti and some other random refuse I ran in to Miristi. There are a couple of photographs of her, but they are there for a reason. Can you Photoshop her silhouette in to something that looks chaotic? If so dump it to this thread.

Recap: digiCam update, another digiCam update and a graffiti update.

A visit to the ol' Byzantium - Teep @ 3:06 pm
Unspecified

Once the capital of the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires, Istanbul is the only metropolis sitting on two continents: Europe and Asia. 1370 miles from Amsterdam might not seem like far, but considering that traveling only 500 miles through Europe can take you through 6 countries, one can imagine the 1370 miles can make a big difference, and they do. Slightly sedated by the Nargileh smoke, I make my way through the streets. The western influence is obvious: drinks, fashion, music, cellphones and ringtones. But saying that, doesn't really do justice to this place. Europe was invented here. They could righteously claim ownership of whatever we come up with. Luckily, the Istanbulian culture is abundantly present.

City life is second nature. This is the first place I've visited that is not a collection of houses and buildings but one big house with many rooms and halls and corridors and squares. Shops, cafes and restaurants are as much out in the streets as they are inside. The grand bazaar is basically one big lounge stretching out over dozens of streets, where people come together to trade, eat, drink and smoke. If you own a restaurant, it is not unusual for your neighbor to come in and sell clothes to your guests, or play them traditional Turkish music. We spent every available night exploring this beehive, trying to become part of it in the little time we had. We tasted, and felt welcome. But standing on top of one of the hills covered by this city, and hearing the mosques amplifying their melodious prayers till they swept through the valleys and every nook and cranny, I realized this was the most beautifully alien place I've ever visited.

The return of bad. - kenny @ 1:03 pm
A weekend abroad, a hiatus of booze, no medication, a few hundred broken laws and shoe's filled with sand. During this time I managed to get a small digiCam update online which is not work safe. I am toying with some black and white photos, I like the feel and the contrast distortion. Also for those of you that are familiar with Howard Stern, then you know who Zolar is. I did a guest spot with Zolar over the weekend and towards the end we were joined by Dr. Lego - so after a three year break, Erik Verducci surfaced for a guest appearance along with some rusty ass prank calls that you can find here.

Out of character I did something last weekend that I sure as hell would not have expected myself to do. Seeing as setting myself on fire and riding in to a lake, or playing tug of war with shark hooks is a typical weekend - you might be asking yourself what kind of madness I could have embarked upon. Well I danced. This was the second time in my life, the first of course was around 14 years ago with a head full of LSD - which made it easy. This time, it was just a cool woman I met a while ago, and she wanted to dance. And with her bum towards me, that means her face wasn't looking my direction. So with her not seeing how utterly ridiculous I must have looked, it was easy to let loose.

I had planned on getting this up last night, but my nurse came over, administered me a high dosage of something and I passed out. The sleep was needed and now I can continue playing catch up... I am working on the WWW update now so look for that later this afternoon. Also I lot of people drop a line saying how hektik is blocked for them, so if it is in fact blocked, take a screen shot and send it to us for our "Hektik is bad" gallery.

Thanks, now I am going to get back to getting some photos from Detroit online. This bud's for you Cooter!

Pic o' the week!

Sometimes a lot of rape is just too much, so may I suggest mini-rape? It's funny how some products don't translate all that well. I wonder how long until this is banished from our local shelves?

As I stated in my previous post, things around my network have been a wreck... well I just got stuff pieced back together and while shit is a still in disarray I am at least back online. But I need some sleep so this week I am taking off, but there are a couple of things that people have sent me and if you have something decent - share it. Be back tomorrow with an update.

Updates update. - kenny @ 7:16 pm
Well updates have been a bit slow, and the WWWupdate will be up tomorrow if all goes well. For those that know me (and those that don't), my home network is more advanced than most peoples work networks. A few months back we were trying to hire a network engineer, sadly most of the people couldn't even navigate through my home environment, let alone a real corporate network. Well it has advanced yet again, no longer is my simple network flat - I am branching off and out. So my internet access has been limited during this complete re-architecture. Hopefully I will be done tonight, so we'll see what time I have left.
